Drumlane GAA Club Notes
July 24, 2017Drumlane GAA Club Lotto Results: The Lotto Jackpot for Tuesday 18/7/2017 was €2,700. The numbers drawn were 3, 17, 26 & 29. There was no Jackpot Winner: the €50 winners were Brendan McCann, Martin Brady, Drumany, & Gillian McConnell, Kilconny, Belturbet. The Club Executive encourages all our adult players, members & friends to play the Club Lotto as this is the main source of fundraising for Club Developments throughout the year. Lotto Jackpot next week is €2,800, remember you need to be in it to win it!
Condolences: The Club Executive wish to pass on their condolences and those of the Drumlane GAA Club to the McCann Family on recent passing of Seamus, a club stalwart. May he rest in peace.
Club Results: The Under 13 Girls lost to Gowna in the championship on a score-line of 3-08 to 1-05, however as they had previously won two games in their section they have qualified to play Castlerahan/Denn in the semi-final of the championship. On Sunday, our men's senior team earned a valuable league point having drawn away to Lavey on a score line of 1-08 to 0-11.
Club Fixtures for the coming week: Our Under 13 Girls play Castlerahan/Denn in the semi-final of the Championship on Monday evening 24th July away in Denn GAA Club @ 7pm while the under 12 Boys play away to Castlerahan on Tuesday 25th July @ 7pm. Our Men's Senior team are fixed to play Redhills in the 1st Round of the 2017 Intermediate Championship this Friday evening 28th July in Butlersbridge GAA Club @ 8pm. We wish them all the best as they start out on what we all hope will be a long and fruitful championship campaign. Please keep an eye out for updates and results of all Club fixtures for the coming week on the Club Facebook page and please remember to go out and support the teams in their upcoming fixtures.
