Seniors

Our Senior men drew 1-12 to 2-9 with Cootehill Celtic on Saturday evening last in the ACFL Division 1 League. Trailing by 2-7 to 1-5 at the break a strong second half performance from the Rorys was unlucky not to yield a victory with just one minute added on at the end of full time by Packie Smith in a half where there was a lot of stoppages. Our Seniors are back in ACFL Division 1 League action tomorrow night Thursday June 22 when they travel to Cully Park to face Arva at 8pm. Belturbet team v Cootehill: Danny Anscombe, Shane Fitzpatrick(C), Peter Shannon, Kevin McConnell, Stuart Dunne, Mark Teevan, Conal McGinley(0-1), Damien O'Reilly(0-2 2f), Eoin McGuigan, Fionan O'Reilly, Enda Henry(0-2 2f), Niall Lawlor(1-0), Donal McDonald, Brendan Fitzpatrick(0-6 4f), Sean Og Lawlor. Subs: Mark Lawlor, Niall O'Reilly, John Cahill, Cian Vaughan(0-1).

Reserves

Commiserations to our Reserves who were defeated by 1-19 to 0-11 by Drumalee in the ACFL Reserve Division 3 League Final in Ballyhaise on Sunday last. Trailing by 0-10 to 0-7 at half time a combination of good Drumalee finishing and a fine display from James Heffernan in the Drumalee goal ensured that it wasn't to be the Rorys day. Belturbet team: Danny Anscombe, Padraic Rehill(C), Luke Smith, Ryan McGovern, John Cahill, Mark O'Reilly, Fionan O'Reilly, Cian Vaughan, Donal McDonald, Niall O'Reilly, Cormac Rudden, Sean Og Lawlor, Ronan Vesey.
