Bingo

Drung GFC Bingo continues every Monday night at 9pm in Bunnoe community centre. Jackpot of €1,000 on 45 calls or less. Lots of great prize money to be won.

 

 

Drung Seniors

Great result for the senior men's team Saturday evening beating Killinkere on a scoreline of 2-12 to 14 points. Well done to the team

 

 

Drung Underage

Well done to the underage kids who provided their supporters with another exciting morning of football last Saturday when they played Denn. Training continues Wednesday at 6.30.

 

St. Finbarrs Ladies

The ladies continue to train in preparation for their championship which commences in the coming weeks. They have been drawn in group A of the Senior championship and are due to play Killygarry and Templeport. More dates to follow.

 

U14 girls

Hard luck to the U14 girls and management who lost by a single goal to Killinkere in the league semi-final. The girls played their hearts out from start to finish and were unlucky to lose out to a goal in a final minutes of the game. Their focus now turns to the coming weekend as they host and participate in the Feile competition. Best of luck girls.

 

 

Feile

The All-Ireland Feile competition is finally upon us this weekend. After months of preparations both our U14 girls and boys teams are ready to compete in this prestigious competition.

The St. Finbarrs U14 boys welcome

 

The girls compete in division 5 of the competition and welcome St. Brigids of Antrim as their host team. As per fixtures the girls have two games on Friday in Kinawley commencing at 17.45 when they play Kinawley and another at 6.30 versus Geraldines. Then on Saturday morning at 10 they play St. Brigids in Bunnoe.

 

The boys compete in division 8 and host Lancashire. They commence their games on Friday at 5pm when they play Knockbride in Knockbride and then play again at 7.15. Then on Saturday morning they play Lanchashire at 11am.

 

We wish both teams and managements the very best of luck and hope that you all get out and support both teams in this competition.

Hurling Feile

Well done to the Cootehill hurlerswho done their club proud last weekend in the Feile this special mention to our two Drung hurlers on the squad Ben Fitzpatrick and Sean McDonnell.

 

County Minors

Best of luck to Tiarnan Reilly and his county minor team mates who play Down next Saturday at 5pm in Armagh in the Ulster championship semi-final.

 

Cavan Ladies

Hard luck to Laura Fitzpatrick and the Cavan ladies who lost out t neighbours Monaghan in the Ulster semi-final last Saturday.
