Bingo

Drung GFC Bingo continues every Monday night at 9pm in Bunnoe community centre. Jackpot of €1,000 on 45 calls or less. Lots of great prize money to be won.

 

Drung Seniors

Well done to the seniors who got back to winning ways with a win over Munterconnaught on Saturday in Bunnoe.

 

Reserve League

Hard luck to the reserve team who lost out to Redhills last Wednesday by a single point. Despite a late comeback the Drung men weren't fit to grab the equaliser and lost out on a score line of 1-20 to 3-13.

U14 Boys

Well done to the boys who put up a great fight against Laragh last Friday and defeated them 7-13 to 7-11.

 

U12 boys

Well done to the U12 boys who beat Mountnugent last Tuesday.

 

Drung U6, U8, U10

Well done to the U10s U8s and U6s who put up a great performance against Drumgoon last Saturday in drumgoon.

On Sunday 4th Drung U10s will take part in the annual Bunnoe Sports Day tournament. Best of luck.

 

U14 girls

Hard luck to the U14 girls who were beaten by a strong Drumgoon team last Sunday in Bunnoe. It was a game full of goals and the score ended up 7-7 to 8-15.

 

U11

Training for the girls will continue on Wednesday at 6.15 and as always new members are more than welcome!

 

Feile

The National U14 All-Ireland Feile competition will be taking place from Friday June 23rd until Sunday June 25th. This year the competition will be taking place in Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh. Both the St. Finbarrs girls and boys teams will be taking part in this prestigious tournament This is a great experience for these players and we ask that everyone supports them in their fundraising and preparation for this weekend.

It has now been confirmed that the St. Finbarrs boys will host Lancashire and the girls will host St Bridget's in Belfast.

 

Lisboduff NS

Well done to Lisboduff NS who won the division 2 of the St. Aidans football tournament. They won 3 pf their 4 qualifying matches before beating Laragh No 2 team in the semi-finals and then Laragh No1 team in the final. A brilliant achievement well done to the whole team.

 

Cavan U16s

Congratulations to Aine Reilly who was a member of the Cavan Ladies U16 team who won their Ulster A final last Saturday. Aine lined out at full forward and helped her team defeat Antrim on a score of 6:08 to 1:07. Well done to the girls and also the Cavan U14s and minors who also won their respective Ulster finals. Fantastic weekend for Cavan ladies and we wish Aine and all the teams the best of luck in their All Ireland semi-finals.
