Cavan

Commiserations to the Cavan ladies who lost the league final replay on Sunday vs. Westmeath. Well done to Kyle Tyler and Thomas Smith who were part of the winning Cavan U17 team who beat Antrim in the Ulster semi-final on Saturday. Congratulations also to Eoghan McGrath and Odhran Keating who played on the winning Cavan U17 hurling team in the Celtic challenge during the week.

 

Safetalk - Suicide Alertness Training in Kilnaleck

SafeTALK is a 3 hour suicide alertness programme that prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. The set of skills taught during the course may help save lives. Participants can expect to leave SafeTALK training more willing and able to perform an important helping role for persons with thoughts of suicide. Breffni Integrated CLG. in association with  the H.S.E. are running this free certified course on Thursday 18th May 2017, Réaltóg Centre, Kilnaleck, From 7 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., Registration from 6.30 p.m., Places are limited, so please book your place early. Feile 2017
Ballinagh Under 14 boys will be participating in the National Feile Football Festival on the weekend of the 23rd till the 25th of June, in which will take place in Cavan/ Monaghan/ Fermanagh.
There will be a club staying in Ballinagh on that weekend in which has to be confirmed but will be from the rebel county of Cork.
We are looking for families to host one or two young people on that weekend in which would be really appreciated. The young people will be away at parades, games and events over the weekend, and will be in house for short periods at times.
Again it would be really appreciated if people would host on that weekend.
