Table Quiz

Thanks to all who supported the table quiz last Friday. All funds raised will go towards training tops for the U16s. A special word of thanks to Seán and Marion Gargan who set, asked and corrected , and to Gerry and Agnes Clarke for the use of their premises and the lovely food.

Lotto

Seniors

Seniors had a great win on Saturday evening against a strong Lacken team, Kingscourt 2-07 Lacken 0-09. That makes it 3 wins out of 3 and puts them joint third at the top of the league table. Unfortunately the Juniors were not so lucky losing out to Lacken by a point Lacken 1-09 Kingscourt 1-08. Seniors will play Cúchulainns away next Saturday at 7pm and the Juniors will play Laragh away next Sunday at 2pm. Best of luck to Barry Tully who is the new senior captain, taking over from Alan Clarke and to Padraig Faulkner who is now vice-captain. Ladies

Cavan senior Ladies had a great victory over Clare in the LIDL National League semi-final; Cavan 3-16 Clare 0-11. Well done to all including Amy Rooney and Holly Lynch.Training for U15 and U17 girls everyTuesday 6.40pm to 8pm. New players welcome.

Juveniles

Next U16 game away Wednesday April 26th V Belturbet. Result on www.kingscourtstars.gaa.ie. Training for under 6 and 8's on Juvenile pitch every Saturday morning at 10am sharp, all kids welcome and any parents willing to help coach also welcomed. Remember gum shields are obligatory! Our club asks parents to encourage their children to partake in training and games and to support our juveniles by attending matches and supporting the players and opponents.

Hurling

U8 blitz possibly next week with the U10 tournament beginning on 8th May. Under 12; The lads made it 3 wins from 3 in the Cavan Spring League with a good performance over Ballinamore on the 3G on Saturdaylast.The Monaghan league begins May 8th with a home game v Clontibret. Under 14; The next round of the Monaghan league is away against

Monaghan Harps TBC. The Cavan league begins soon. Under 16; Monaghan U16 HL begins May 8th. We have a bye in the first round then we play Truagh Gaels at home on 22nd.

Kellogg's Cúl Camps

Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls - between the ages of 6 and 13 - with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Camp will take place in Kingscourt on July 10th to July 14th. Contact Aiden McCabe at 087 2875939

Cúl Camp Coach

Application forms now available for all those interested in coaching Cúl Camps. Please note that only this completed application form is accepted and the closing date for application is 5pm, Friday April 28th. Please Note: Applications must hold a minimum of a GAA Foundation Level Coaching or equivalent and be a minimum of 18 years old, to be considered.

GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships

Interviews will be held in Hotel Kilmore on Saturday April 29th between 10am and 1pm for students wishing to avail of a scholarship.
