Allianz League Football Pools

Allianz League    

Next game in the league against Tyrone at 2.30pm in Omagh on Sunday February 26th. Congratulations to Padraig Faulkner who made the Hogan Stand team of the week after his game against Monaghan marking Conor McManus. This is Padraig's second time this year to make the team of the week which is selected on a national basis!  Good luck to all the county panel in Omagh including Padraig Faulkner, James Farrelly and Joe Dillon.    

Ladies  

Ladies 9 a side lost out to Cornafean on Sunday Cornafean 6-11 Kingscourt 2-11. Hard luck girls. Training for U15 and U17 girls every Tuesday 6.40pm to 8pm. New players welcome. Cavan ladies defeated  Kildare in the Lidl NFL Div 2 round 3 last Sunday - Cavan 1-17 Kildare 1-11. Well done ladies including Amy Rooney and Holly Lynch!   

Minors    

Result of the rd 3 minor  league Kingscourt 2-24  Lough Oughter Gaels 3-6. Rd 4 V St Josephs in Drumlane at 2pm on Saturday 25th Feb. Rd 5 V Annalee Gaels at home on Saturday March 4th. Best of luck lads!  

Juveniles    

U6 league starts Wednesday April 5th; U12 Spring League starts Tuesday April 11th; U14 league starts Friday May 12th. Mentors/coaches needed for all age groups.Training will be provided.    

Cavan U21's       

Training for the first game of the championship V Fermanagh on March 15th. Good luck to all the panel, including Peter Corrigan.    

Seniors     

The ACFL Div 1 will commence on Saturday April 8th. Reserve league will commence in March.  Draw for the Division 1 league: Rd 1 V Mullahoran; Rd 2 V Arva, Rd 3 V Lacken; Rd 4 V Cuchulainns; Rd 5 V Belturbet, Rd 6 V Cootehill; Rd 7 V Ramor, Rd 8 V Gowna; Rd 9 V Ballinagh, Rd 10 V Castlerahan; Rd 11 V Cavan Gaels.  

Club Membership/Chairde Dúnarí      

Membership fees for 2017 should now be fully paid. Remember only paid up members for the year are eligible and insured to use the club facilities and train/play for Kingscourt Stars!  Membership may be paid by direct debit or a one off cash payment. Further details from any committee member.       

Hurling       

Under 6/8/10; Most players are now registered but if you missed out then please get registered so you can receive all text updates for hurling. Gradings will be done this week. Under 12/14/16/18; Registration for all older players next Saturday at training at the Vale 3.45. €15 for the year. Training as usual in Kingscourt on Thursday and Bailieborough on Friday. Feilé na nGael will take place this year in Kilkenny/Carlow on 16th, 17th and 18th June. We aim to qualify and represent Cavan hurling again this year. Meeting of parents will take place shortly. For all info on U6/8/10 groups please contact Willie 086 164 9280.
