Football News

Well done to Cavan Ladies who recorded their 2nd win of Div.2 against Kildare last Sunday 1-17 to 1-11.

Hard Luck to Our Senior Ladies who made the long trip to Blacklion last Sunday for Rd.2 of their 9-a-side League, where they lost out narrowly to Shannon Gaels on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-7.

 

Table Quiz

 

A Club table quiz will take place on this Thursday 23rd of Feb. at 8 p.m. in the Farnham Arms. All are welcome and your support would be greatly appreciated.

 

Underage Training

 

Saturday morning training for boys and girls is up and running again every Saturday in Terry Coyle Park. Girls U8-U12 begin at 10a.m. while Tornadoes and Boys U8-U12 will begin at 11. Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí.

 

Camogie

Healthy Clubs

 

Cavan Sports Partnership along with Cavan Institute will hold a series of seminars over the next few weeks aimed at coaches, players, athletes and parents. The first of these will take place in Cavan Institute on 28th Feb.at 7p.m. on the subject of nutrition. Also, Basic Life Support Training Course will take place on Sat. 25th Feb. in the Courthouse, Cavan. This workshop, which is aimed at community volunteers, is free of charge and can be booked at [email protected] Bí Folláin.

 

 

 

Bingo

 

Our Club Bingo will take place this Fri.24th Feb. in the Ozanam Centre in River St. with a prize fund of €2170 to be won. Thanks to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support.

 

Circuit Training

 

Circuit Training for all ages and fitness levels, male and female, takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and every Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the new clubrooms. All welcome.
