Strictly Come Dancing
On Sunday evening, 20th November, a huge crowd was in attendance in the Hotel Kilmore for Denn Strictly Smash Hits. The event was sponsored by The Farnham Arms Hotel, to whom we extend our thanks. The audience was treated to fabulous routines by 25 couples, who also took part in a group routine. The club would like to congratulate each and every dancer for their performances on stage and in particular the winners, Alan Tierney & Amanda Galligan. We would also like to thank Rosemary Watson, Catherine Watson & Alicia Grant & Take Two Productions for their time and effort over the past couple of months. We would also like to thank our three judges, Paul Cox, Criag Lovett & Jessica Guerra for their part on the night. Thank you also to our MC's Gerry Brady & Johnny O'Keeffe who helped make the night so entertaining. A huge thank you to everyone who attended on the night, to all the businesses who placed an advert in the programme, the main sponsors of the dancers, dances, judges & MC's, to those who voted and to anyone who donated or contributed in any way. To the 50 dancers who dedicated their time over the last few months and to their family and friends who supported them in any way, the event would not have been possible only for you volunteering to take the stage and participate in Strictly Smash Hits. We hoped that you all enjoyed the experience. Finally thanks to the organising committee and anyone who helped out on the night and in the weeks running up to the show.
