McKenna Cup 2017: Red Hands drawn with Tir Chonaill men

Tyrone have been pitted against close rivals Donegal in the 2017 Dr McKenna Cup draw - a repeat of this year's Ulster final.

Mickey Harte's Red Hands, who will be chasing a six straight title in the pre-season competition, will meet Rory Gallagher's Tir Chonaill men in Section C which also includes UUJ and Cavan.

Armagh, Derry and Down have all been drawn together in Section A along with Queens, while Section B sees Antrim, Fermanagh, Monaghan and St Mary's.

The first round of fixtures have been scheduled for Sunday, 8 January.
