Football News
Congratulations and well done to our U21 squad & management on a fantastic win in the Div.2 Championship Final over a fancied Templeport team last Sunday at Breffni 3G. The Gaels took the game to Templeport from the start with a terrific first half to go in at the break at 1-6 apiece. In the 2nd half the Gaels pushed on and looked comfortable after 45 minutes with a 7 point lead. However 2 quick scrambled goals from Templeport in the space of a few minutes threw the game wide open. A late goal won it for the Gaels, winning on a scoreline of 4-8 to 3-9. Comhghairdeas.
