Dernacrieve Gaels 

 

Congratulations to Dernacrieve Gaels who were crowned Cavan Under 16 champions last Saturday evening in Kingspan Bhreffni park after a trilling 85 minutes of non stop dramatic entertaining football, this was a replay game that went right down to the wire again, after extra time the final scoreline read Dernacrieve Gaels  1:24 Templeport 2:16, congratulations to Cían McGovern who was awarded man of the match. 

 

Annual draw

Corlough GAA will be having an annual draw in Feehans on Saturday night 19th November, €5,000 in prizes up for grabs, Members will soon be selling in local areas, if you can please support our fundraising draw. Many thanks. 

 

Congratulations to Ballinamore Sean OHeslins and Aughawillian who both brought home Leitrim titles recently. 

 

The following is a list of events at our annual October Bank holiday festival, our hard working festival committee have a full packed schedule again this year, we encourage you all to support some part of our festival and we look forward to seeing neighbouring clubs support our festival just like we support theirs. 

 

Corlough GAA Club October Bank Holiday Festival Weekend of Events:

 

Friday: 28th October

9:30pm Table quiz with a twist in Feehans.

Prizes for best original table team name. 

 

Saturday: 29th October:

11am:Patrick McHugh Memorial Cup under 10's Dernacrieve Gaels v Kildallan

12pm:Padraig McHugh Memorial Cup under 16's Dernacrieve Gaels v tbc.

5pm Cocktail hour in Feehans, 

6pmCorlough has the XFactor tour bus departs, ****60/70's or any fancy dress only . Bookings essential as this is a ticket only event and will be on a first come first served basis: XFactor party food included.

3pmPeter Maguire Memorial Cup Corlough v Kildallan, proceeds of this match going to St Felims Speech & Language class, Cavan. 

5pm Music in Feehans by Seamus McPhillips, refreshments and prizes along with presentation to newly weds.
