Kingscourt Stars club notes

Minors

Our minors defeated Templeport to win the minor C championship last Sunday in Kingspan Breffni Park!  It was a very exciting game against a strong Templeport side and could have gone either way up to the final whistle. However, determination by each and every one of the lads got them over the line! Comhghairdeas to the entire panel and management team of Dave Burke, Pat Faulkner and Seanie Farrelly.   Well done to Cian Shekleton who was the deserving winner of Man of the Match! We wish Templeport the best of luck in the U16 final!

 Development at O'Raghallaigh Park

Work commenced this week on the construction of a new dressing room, shower and toilet facility for O'Raghallaigh Park. The project is expected to be finished before the end of the year to be ready in time for the 2017 season. The funding to complete this work has been raised through a combination of The Sports Capital Program, and club fundraisers such as 'The Kube' event held in 2015. Keep an eye on www.kingscourtstars.gaa.ie and social media for further updates and photos on the development.
