Junior League Final

Well done to the juniors who defeated Lacken to retain their league title on Friday evening. It was an enjoyable encounter played in Cornafean with Mullahoran running out winners in the end on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-9.

Seniors

The seniors took to the field for a Div 1 match against Gowna at home in Mullahoran on Sunday afternoon. In a game played in showery conditions both teams gave a good account of themselves with lots of endeavour on both sides. Gowna started off strongest taking an early lead however a goal from Shane Sheils saw the momentum swing in Mullahorans favour. We took the lead after half time and held it until the end despite a late rally from Gowna who were at that stage playing with 14 men due to a late sending off. Final score 1-08 to 0-09. Next up for the seniors will be Lacken away this Friday evening at 8pm followed by Ramor United at home on Sunday at 2pm.

U16 championship

Next up for Drumloman Gaels will be Cavan Gaels on July 26th (Tuesday) at 7:30pm. Match will be played in Ballymachugh. They are then scheduled to be away to Redbridge on bank holiday Monday at 7:30pm. Best of luck to the boys.
