Our JuniorB Team were defeated by Killygarry in the championship last Friday. On Sunday last our senior men recorded two good wins in Terry Coyle, the first, a win over Mountnugent in Div.4, the second, a good win over Castlerahan in the ACFL Div.1. The senior championship gets underway for the Gaels  at the beginning of August. Go neirí leo.

Family Carers' Bagpack

Cavan Gaels was delighted to facilitate the Family Carers Association bag pack in Cavan last Friday . The event took place in Dunnes Stores nationwide. Sincere thanks to Kevin Reilly & his staff for their courtesy & assistance. Water Safety classes

Co Cavan  Water Safety Committee has arranged the following programme of Swimming and Water safety instruction classes locally:

Lavey Lake commencing on 25th July ending on 5th August .

Instruction sessions are scheduled to commence at 11am each day and a total of 3 session per day will be held (weather permitting).

Charge for instruction €32 for two weeks per pupil. For further information contact Water Safety Development Officer 049 4378300.

Under-Age Coaching for boys and girls

 Coaching for juveniles takes place  in Terry Coyle Park every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30. U8, U10, U12 Girls begin at 10 a.m. and boys from 11 a.m. New members and enquiries are always welcome. Tornadoes

Juvenile Camogie

Juvenile Camogie  takes place every Wednesday in Terry Coyle Park at 6 p.m. New members and beginners are welcome. For more info. contact Mary at 087 7532979. 

Bingo

Bingo will continue on Friday 29th   July  2016 in the Ozanam Centre in River St. at 9 p.m. Please note the new venue. €2170 in total must be won on the night. Thanks to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support. 

Circuit Training

Circuit Training for all ages and fitness  levels, male and female, every Saturday morning at 11 in the new clubrooms. Sessions now also take place on Tues. and Thurs. at 6.30 p.m.  All welcome.
