She may not have got the result she wanted, but Cavan die-hard supporter Kay Brady got to meet two of her Breffni heroes following last Saturday's defeat to Derry.

The Blues' season ended in agonising fashion by losing out to the Oak Leafers on a 1-17 to 0-18 at Kingspan Breffni Park, where they were reduced to 14 men prior to half-time, but star players Cian Mackey and Seanie Johnston still hung around afterwards for this picture with their number one fan.

Last year, Kay was one of six students to become the first graduates of the Down Syndrome Ireland Latch-On programme, an internationally recognised education programme for adults with Down Syndrome which started in Cavan in 2013.
