Race Night 

The Club will hold a fundraising Race Night in July at  Murtagh's Lounge, with all proceeds going to the Players Fund. Price of a horse is €10 & may be purchased from senior players now, or contact a committee member. Confirmation of date next week! 

Donate Blood 

'It's In Your Blood' is a partnership between the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and the GAA to encourage GAA members and supporters to give blood at local GAA club level. Make an effort to give blood in Kingscourt Community Centre on Mon 27th June from 4:30 - 8pm, & please bring a friend. 

Féile Girls!  

Kingscourt ladies 'Healthy Club' family Fun, Run, Jog or Walk that took place last Friday was a great success & we wish all the U14 girls, management & parents the best of luck in Kerry.  

 Ulster Semi Final  

Late goal secures a Tyrone/Cavan replay on Sunday July 3rd in Clones. Tickets available in SuperValu, Centra or online. 

Retirement. 

We wish committee member David Burke many years of health & happiness on his retirement as Garda Sergeant. Offaly native, David, has completed 30 years of service most of which was spent in Kingscourt. 

Cavan Ladies 

Congratulations to the Cavan ladies senior team who beat Donegal to qualify for the Ulster final. Special mention to Kingscourt Stars Amy Rooney who made her senior championship debut. Result Cavan 1:09 Donegal 1:08 

Defibrillator/CPR Training   

Bailieborough Red Cross has been appointed to provide a training course in Defib/CPR for the club. This will involve a once off workshop for 4 hours that will cover all aspects of chain of survival, resuscitation & post resuscitation care. The course comes with excellent recommendations that is sure to instill confidence in all participants.  It is vital that representatives from every age group receive this training. Please forward names asap to any committee member or contact Club Chairman, Phil Smith.    

Summer Cúl Camps    

You can sign-up your child for the 2016 Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps NOW! Kingscourt Camp is on 11th-15th July & includes football, hurling, camogie & rounders. Cost of 1st child is €55 with family discounts. Contact Keith Greene at 087 9366466 or go to www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie    

New Website   

The new Kingscourt Stars website is almost ready to go live. It is hoped to have a launch in conjunction with the fundraising Race Night for the players fund!  

Kingscourt Ladies    

Ladies training continues on Wednesday & Friday at 7.15pm. Training for U14 and U16 girls Monday & Thursday at 6.45pm on the pitch. Girls U12 training for all girls born 2004/2005 Fridays 8pm-9pm community center. All welcome!

U16s 

Training every Sunday morning at 10am with championship ahead in July after exams.   

Juveniles    

U14 training on Mondays & Thursdays at 7.30pm at pitch.  U12 training on Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm. U8 training Saturdays 12pm-1pm. €2 per child. All players remember to have a gum shield!    

Any parent/ guardian willing to assist with coaching juvenile teams, both boys & girls, please contact any club member. Training will be available for all who are interested.    

Hurling
