Cornafean club notes

June 20, 2016

Football Success .. Huge congratulations to both Cavan ladies and mens teams on their fantastic efforts on the field of play over the weekend.  The ladies had a one point win over the current Ulster champions Donegal on Saturday evening and will now play near neighbours Monaghan in the Senior Ulster Final on the 2nd July and to the men who gave a very brave display against Tyrone in their semi final clash in Clones and if their shooting boots had been on the Breffni men could be preparing for an Ulster Final.  We wish them the very best in an eagerly anticipated replay in two weeks time.

Wedding Bells ….. Congratulations to Colm McKiernan and Louise McAlalvey who were married in Athlone at the weekend.  We wish Louise and Colm health and happiness in their future lives together in Cornafean.
