Three massive championship semi-finals took place today as well as the fourth Round 1A football Qualifier.
In football, Tyrone and Cavan contested the first of this year's Ulster SFC semi-finals at Clones, while Leitrim entertained Waterford for the right to progess to the second round of the Qualifiers.
In hurling, Tipperary hosted Limerick to see who would advance to meet Waterford in the Munster SHC decider, and Galway locked horns with Offaly in Portlaoise seeking to join Kilkenny in the 2016 Leinster SHC final.
