Results
The junior reserve side played out an exciting high scoring encounter with Gowna on Friday evening last it extremely wet conditions. Unfortunately the Nagh men just fell short by a single point with the final score Ballinagh 3-16 to Gowna 4-14

Membership/Lotto:
Ballinagh GAA have set up a direct debit for anyone wanting to do the lotto on a yearly basis. This works out at €5 a week, with the yearly membership and three lotto tickets every week included in this. This is a savings of €70 a year for anyone doing the lotto on a yearly basis. Cash or cheque will be also be accepted for this lotto incentive. Please contact any committee member for further details if you are interested in joining this fantastic offer.


Lotto Results:
The numbers drawn for the week ending 16/5/16 were 3-6-9-22, Jackpot winner was Bridget Powell who wins the €8'200 prize money. Ballinagh wish to congratulate Bridget on her win and hope she enjoys the money. Next week's Jackpot is €1'000. Tickets can be bought in any local establishment.


Cavan
Excitement in the county is building as this weekend the Breffni men begin their 2016 Senior Championship campaign against Armagh. Terry Hyland's men will look to build on their successful league campaign in which they gained promotion to Division 1 however standing in their way of a potential rematch of the League final will be Kieran McGeeney's Armagh side who look a avenge their heavy league defeat to the boys in Blue a couple of months ago. The Cavan minors also take to the field against the Orchard county in their opening game of the year with Danny Brady's men hoping to better last year's run to the All-Ireland Q/F. Ballinagh have a strong representation on both squads with Niall McDermott and Thomas Moore in the senior ranks and Gavin Smith in the minor panel. Throw in times on Sunday in Kingspan Breffni Park are at 1:30pm for the minor and 3:30pm for the senior.


Golf Classic
Ballinagh will host their 2016 Golf Classic on Friday the 17th of June. Teams cost €150 with prizes galore available. Stay tuned to our Facebook, twitter and club notes in the coming weeks for more details.


Summer Cul Camp
Summer GAA camp will take place again in Ballinagh this summer. This is an excellent way kids can spend a week of their summer holidays learning the skills of the game from some of the top male and female coaches and footballers in Cavan and making new friends in a fun and safe supervised environment. Ballinagh's camp is scheduled for July 25th to July 29th and prices are €55 for the first child, €45 for the second and €40 for anyone subsequent child. You can get registration forms in Kingspan Breffni Park or register online on the Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp website www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps.


Ballinagh Cycle
Ballinagh Cycle will hold a fundraising day in Ballinagh on Saturday the 4th of June with a Static Bike Challenge. Please come down and join the fun and give even just five minutes of your time on the static bike all for worthy causes. The Croagh Patrick to Ballinagh challenge takes place on Saturday 25th of June and cyclists are looking for donations on their sponsorship cards.


Danger Money in the Breffni Arms
'Danger Money' a play written by John McManus and starring Seamus O'Rourke will take place in the Breffni Arms Hotel Arva on Saturday the 18th of June in aid of St. Christopher's Hospice Cavan for a night not to be missed. Tickets on sale in the Breffni Arms Hotel and the Village Foodstore Crossdoney. For more details contact Ciaran Weir on 086-0753309
