Cavan manager Terry Hyland says he is close to finalising his starting team for Sunday week's Ulster SFC quarter-final showdown with Armagh.
An on-going groin problem sees Ballinagh marksman Niall McDermott the only main injury concern for Hyland ahead of the clash at Kingspan Breffni Park, where the Blues will be hoping to advance to the last four of the province for the first time in three years.
"I would say that I'd be fairly certain of 13 of the 15 starting positions at this stage but that could change with injuries and other things," Hyland told The Anglo-Celt newspaper.
"With me, it's always a case of horses for courses and that's the way I'll look at things for the Armagh game.
"We're fortunate in that we have a lot of versatile players on the panel so we can move players around to tailor our needs on any particular day and get the match-ups right for whoever the opposition is."
Wing forward Dara McVeety recently joined McDermott on the injury list after having picked up a knock whilst on club duty for Crosserlough in the All County League.
McVeety was one of the Breffni men's top performers during their National League campaign, which saw them promoted to Division One, and Hyland says he's hopeful of his side's injuries clearing up ahead of the Orchard County's visit.
"We've another three or four fellas who are getting treated for knocks at the minute, including Dara McVeety who is recovering from a dead leg, but Niall's injury is the only serious one," the Lacken man confirmed.
