Trip to Croker - It was a wonderful day out in Croke Park on Sunday last with great football, great music, song and dance and pleasant weather but unfortunately Cavan met an excellent Tyrone team in the Div 2 final and lost out by 5 pts after a thrilling match.  The Cavan lads gave an excellent account of themselves and no doubt have a good summer ahead to look forward to and there was no shame in losing to this Tyrone team who will certainly have a big say in the destination of Sam come September.  It was also very exciting to watch Dublin up close and personal and they certainly have brought football to another level and the great Kerry had no answer to them in the second half.  Their pace, power and athleticism are a joy to behold.  Musical entertainment during the interval of the both matches was provided by the excellent "Willis Clan" from America and a secondary school choir from Kilkenny who are making it big on Britains Got Talen at the moment.  To round of the day the GAA commemorated  1916 with an excellent pagent entitled "Laochra" which was a celebration of our national identity  featuring wonderful musicians, dancers and singers with phenomenal special effects and a cast of thousands.
