Cavan Seniors
Hard luck to Enda and the Cavan Seniors on their 1-12 to 1-11 defeat to Derry in Round 2 of the Division 2 League on Saturday night last in Kingspan Breffni Park.

Cavan Ladies
Congratulations to Sarah, Amy and the Cavan Senior Ladies who defeated Meath by 2-11 to 0-5 in Round 2 of the Division 2 League on Sunday last in Ballinlough GFC. Best of luck to Sarah, Amy and the Cavan Ladies who host Westmeath this Sunday February 14 at 2pm in Kingspan Breffni Park.

Belturbet Senior Ladies
Hard luck to our Senior Ladies who were defeated by 1-8 to 2-3 by Bailieborough Ladies A in Round 1 of the Division 1 9-A-Side League on Sunday last in the 3G Pitch. Best of luck to the Ladies who host Lurgan this Sunday February 14 in Round 2 of the 9-A-Side League.

Minors
Hard luck to our Minors who were defeated by 9-8 to 0-5 by Killygarry in Round 1 of the Division 2 Minor League on Saturday last +6 in Crubany.

Get Belturbet Up and Active
New walking/jogging/running groups every Saturday morning. Group 1 departing from the railway at 9.30 a.m and Group 2 in the Scouting Centre at 10 am. 5k routes mapped out. Everyone welcome to come and help encourage the Belturbet community get fit.

Club Membership
Club Membership is now due for renewal for the 2016 season. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet. This will entitle members to free entry into all Belturbet games at underage and senior level as well as having their name entered into the weekly club lotto draw. If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees can be returned  to our club chairman Mark Lawlor, Secretary Dermot Lavin, Treasurer Alan Traynor or indeed any of the club committee.

Coaching Night February 11th
Cavan are hosting a coaching night in the Hotel Kilmore this Thursday February 11th at 7:30pm.
Our 4 workshops will be running simultaneously and we request Clubs make huge effort to get the right people to their workshop.
Guest Speaker to address the full group attending.
Workshop1: "Gaelic Start" given by Ulster Tutor Owen Mooney
Summary: The aim of this programme is to help parents and coaches plan and implement a Gaelic Start and Fundamentals programme in their clubs.  A specific programme of skills and activities have been developed on user friendly cards for coaches with little or no experience.
Attendees: Coaches working with players from U11 downwards
Workshop2: "Developing Young Hurlers for the Future" given by Ulster Tutors Kevin Kelly & Pauric Dowdall
Summary: focus on the essential ingredients required to develop the game at youth and adult level.
Attendees: Coaches working with all Hurling teams within your club
Workshop3: "Implement Club Coaching Structures" given by Ulster Tutor Diarmaid Marsden
Summary: This workshop will highlight the benefits of an effective Club Coaching Structure. It will examine the relevant key roles required to enable your club to progress, and how to identify the best personnel available to fill these roles. All club coaching officers and key people involved in underage coaching are encouraged to attend
Attendees: Club Coaching Officer and administrators
Workshop4: "Fitness, Conditioning and Injury Prevention" given by Cavan
Senior Team Condition Coach Eoin Maguire.
Summary: Covering such topics as team preparation and injury prevention for the current demands on players.
Attendees: Club Coaches working with players from U14 to adult
