Game at Breffni Park abandoned due to fire

A Cavan senior club championship match has been abandoned on Sunday night at Kingspan Breffni Park due to an electrical fire.
Castlerahan were leading Gowna by 0-10 to 0-2 at half-time when smoke was detected from a fuse box on the flood light at the back of the main stand.
Officials decided to call off the game as precaution and fire brigade arrived at the stadium to extinguish the flames.
The game, which will now be replayed from the start again, is set to be re-fixed by the county board's CCC on Monday.
