Denn GFC Club Notes
Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 27th July. The winning numbers were 1,5,18,20. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were William Skinnader, Barry Reilly Ballyjamesduff, Colm Brady Mullahoran, Denn Development, Cathal Cronin. The next draw will be on Monday 3rd August in The Crosskeys Inn. Jackpot is now €10,900.
Cavan Senior Championship
Denn got their Cavan Senior Championship 2015 campaign underway last Friday when they played their Preliminary Round game against Drumgoon in Ramor Utd Park. In a dominant display Denn ran out the winners on a 3-10 to 0-10 scoreline. The team are now through to the first round proper where they will face Ballinagh.
Under 16 Championship
In Round 4 of Group 1 of the Division 3 Under 16 Championship, Denn were beaten by Castlerahan on Thursday last on a scoreline of 4-11 to 1-14.
Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of Denn GFC will take place on Thursday 30th July at 9pm in the clubrooms. All members are askd to attend.
Cavan Minors
Good luck to Thomas Edward Donohoe and the Cavan Minor team & management in the All Ireland quarter final this weekend.
U12 Summer League
The Denn Under 12 Football team will participate in the 'Orange Group' of the Summer league with Ballinagh, Belturbet, Butlersbridge, Castlerahan, Cavan Gaels, Cornafean and Drumlane. The seven rounds take place on the following dates; Monday 27th July, Tuesday 4th August, Saturday 8th August, Monday 10th August, Saturday 15th August, Monday 17th August & Saturday 22nd August. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 29th August and the finals taking place on Saturday 5th September and Sunday 6th September. Round 1 is on Monday 27th July against Belturbet in Belturbet at 7.30pm.
