Football and hurling qualifier draws on Monday morning

July 03, 2015

We love a Qualifier draw

The Round 3A Football and Round 2 Hurling draws will take place next Monday morning, July 6 on RTE Radio 1 shortly after 8.30.

Round 3A Football draw

These games will take place on Saturday, July 11th.  This draw involves the four winning teams from Round 2A (Cavan/Roscommon, Clare/Longford, Offaly/Kildare and Fermanagh/Antrim) in one bowl.
The draw is subject to avoidance of repeat pairing (Longford v Offaly).  The first team drawn has home advantage.

Round 2 Hurling draw

These games will take place on Saturday, July 11th.   This draw involves the winners of Round 1 in one bowl (Dublin/Laois, Clare/Offaly, Limerick/Westmeath, Cork/Wexford).

The draw is subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings, where feasible (Limerick v Clare, Laois v Offaly, Laois v Westmeath, Wexford v Westmeath).

Notes relevant to both draws:

NOTE 1: If the 1st team drawn cannot play the 2nd team drawn (due to having met previously in the provincial championship), the third team drawn will be AWAY to the 1st team drawn; the 4th team drawn will be AWAY to the 2nd team drawn.

NOTE 2: If having drawn the 1st and 2nd teams, the remaining teams in the draw are two teams that cannot meet, the 3rd team drawn will then be AWAY to the 1st drawn, and the 4th team drawn will be AWAY to the 2nd team drawn initially.

Confirmation of home venues, times and all dates for the fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of CCCC on Monday afternoon.
