Kill Shamrocks club notes

March 30, 2015

Great victory for cavan against westmeath on Saturday evening last in kingspan breffini park. It secures cavan's division 2 status for next year.
Final score: Cavan 1-8 Westmeath 1-3

Well done to our newly reformed camogie club who beat Drumgoon on Saturday last in the first round of the league, in a highly competitive game with heavy under foot conditions. Great to see such good support for the girls. Also well done to the 2 mothers lining out with their daughters. Congrats to all involved.
Final score: Kill 0-4 Drumgoon 0-2
Next game is against cavan gaels on Thursday at 6.30pm in Rathluden.

Senior men had no games last weekend but take on kildallon next Saturday evening at 6pm in Rathluden as partook the breffini league.

Dates to keep in your diary: 4th of May is annual tullyvin fair day and June bank holiday Sunday is the annual soap box derby. Time to start constructing your soap boxes. More info to follow on both.

We would like to wish conor mc kenna, The Village Inn, all the best in the future as he moves on from tullyvin to pastures anew. Conor has been very much involved in our club and parish since he took over the pub, sponsoring shirts to seniors and even holding chairman for a year. From all at kill shamrocks gaa a hearty thank you and best of luck.
