Terry Hyland is planning for this weekend's Division 2 clash against Westmeath minus the services Killian Clarke and Michael Argue.

The Anglo Celt reports that a hamstring injury rules Clarke out of Saturday night's Kingspan Breffni Park fixture while Argue picked up an injury in a league match against Belturbet.

Better news for Cavan fans is that Damien O'Reilly will return from suspension while Ronan Flanagan - who was carried off against Galway - is also available for selection.

"All we're thinking about is winning the game and consolidating, although it could actually be possible to go down on seven points," Hyland commented.

"It's very tight. You'd normally get one or two teams running away with it or two at the bottom who have slipped up but it's probably unusual that this league could go right down to the last day, for promotion and relegation."
