Seniors

Our seniors were defeated by 1-8 to 1-5 by Munterconnacht in the Division 2 Breffni League last Sunday in Ballyconnell. Belturbet team v Munterconnacht: Ross O'Reilly, Padraic Rehill, Peter Shannon, Luke Smith, Shane Fitzpatrick, Enda Henry, Niall Lawlor(0-1), Mark Lawlor(C), Eoin McGuigan(0-1), Kevin McConnell,  Niall O'Reilly, Brian Wallace, Ronan Vesey, Jason O'Reilly(1-3 2f), Stuart Dunne. Subs: Donal McDonald, Barry O'Reilly, Daniel Shannon, Mark O'Reilly, Trevor Dunne.
Our seniors travel to O'Hagan Park this Sunday March 1st to take on Shercock at 12 noon.

Cavan Ladies
Well done to our county duo Caron Fay and Sarah Murray and the Cavan ladies who collected their third win of the Division 2 League when they defeated Westmeath by 0-10 to 0-5 in Mullingar on Sunday last. Best of luck to Caron, Sarah and the Cavan ladies who face Down this Sunday March 1st at 2pm in Down. In other news the Cavan Senior Ladies have been drawn to face Tyrone in the Quarter Finals of the Ulster Senior Championship.

Cavan Seniors
Best of luck to Damien, Brendan and the Cavan Seniors who take on Down in Round 3 of the Division 2 League this Saturday February 28th at 7pm in Kingspan Breffni Park.

St.Pats Cavan
Best of luck to St. Patrick's College Cavan who face Omagh CBS in the MacRory Cup Semi Final this Sunday March 1st at 2.30 p.m in Castleblayney. 

Ladies Division 1 9-Aide League
Our ladies are away to Lacken this Sunday March 1st in the Division 1 9-A-Side League.

Stephen Smith Talk
A huge word of thanks to Stephen Smith from Drumalee who gave a talk to our seniors before last Friday night's training session on the importance of Organ Donation. Stephen's story is a compelling one and he spoke very eloquently and openly about the health problems he has faced in his life. We would like to sincerely thank Stephen for visiting us and giving such an inspiring talk.

Minors
Best of luck to our minors who are in Division 3 of the Minor League this year which gets underway this Saturday February 28th when our minors face Lavey at home at 3.30 p.m. We will also face Ballinagh away on March 7th at 3.30 p.m, Ballymachugh at home, Denn at home and Cornafean away .

U16's
Our U16's will compete in Division 3 of the U16 league this year. The Division is split into two Groups of four teams. We will face Cuchulainns, Blackwater Gaels and Denn in Group 2. The U16 league begins on Saturday March 21st. 

U14's
Our U14's have been paired in Group 1 of the Division 2 U14 football league which commences on Thursday April 9th. We will face Cuchulainns, Gowna, Lavey and Laragh United.

SCOR
Sincere thanks to all who represented Belturbet Rory O'Moore's in recent Senior Scor competitions. Thanks to all the competitors who took part in the various disciplines. Also appreciation for provision of rehearsal facilities. Belturbet were represented in five competitions, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Recitation, Instrumental Music Group and Leiriu (Novelty Act) in the county final.
Senior Ladies
Senior Ladies training has  recommenced and at present takes place on Sunday mornings in  the Astroturf, Belturbet at 11am.  Enquiries to 086 1940360.  New players welcome.

Cavan U14 Girls Panelists
Congratulations to Orlaith Smith, Caitlin Crane and Aine Dennehey who have earned their places on the 2015 U14 Cavan County panel, we wish them the very best of luck for the season ahead.
Underage Girls Training
Belturbet Girls underage training has recommenced, taking place every Saturday morning in Redhills GAA pitch.  11am to 12pm: U8, U10 & U12.  12 noon to 1pm: U14 & U16.  New players welcome

For those wanting to pay the standard club membership fees for 2015 individual  membership for a player or club member is €50 per person. Family Membership costs are set at €100. Club Membership can be paid to either Mark Lawlor or Alan Traynor.
