Denn 25th Intermediate Win  Celebrations
In the late eighties Denn established as one of the foremost teams at Intermediate level within Cavan - contesting the championship final in 1987 where we lost to Cuchulainns however in 1988 and again in 1990 we corrected this setback with victories over Redhills and Belturbet.
On Sunday Night 28th December Denn GFC have organised a night of celebration and a night to remember the players from these teams who represented our club and community with pride. With an eye to the future we will also recognise this year's successful Minor League team who won the Minor League Division and were unlucky not to add a championship title. The night will also include members of our Senior team who succeeded in retaining their league and Championship status this year. We expect this to be a night for our club to come together to acknowledge the achievements of the past and to highlight the potential our club has to once again be a force into the future. Our evening will commence with mass in St Matthews Church Crosskeys where we will remember friends who are no longer with us. We will then adjourn to Carrick Springs where light refreshments will be served, along side some music and dancing where our team members from 1988/1990 will be presented with a memento of the occasion. Members of both illustrious teams are making great efforts to be in attendance and we expect that all other club members and players both past and present will come to help recall epic victories and performances that will undoubtedly become legendary as the night progresses. We hope to see out the old year recalling the past and look forward to the new year where we will create a host of new memories for the future.
"See you all December 28th"
