Juniors & U21s
Hard Luck to the Ballinagh Under 21 Team who suffered a narrow defeat against Naomh Brid (Redhills/Drumalee/Butlersbridge) last Sunday afternoon.
The Junior team have also qualified for the semi-final of the League, in where they finished top of the Division 1 Junior League. Time, date, venue and opposition have to be confirmed for Semi- Final. (Keep an eye of Fixtures Section)
AGM
The AGM will take place on Sunday the 7th of December at 2pm in Ballinagh National School. Ballinagh GAA encourage all members to attend this meeting, and new members are welcome. The GAA is a way of been involved in the local community, and anyone who has an interest in helping out or been part of the organisation, they are more than welcome to attend the meeting.
Tea Party
The Annual American Style Tea Party will take place in Ballinagh Community Center this Friday the 28th of November at 8pm. Tickets are 10 euro in where people are encouraged to bring along refreshments[ buns, sandwiches, cakes, etc. etc.] Tea and coffee will be served. Also on the night their will be music by local artists, and the victorious Under 14 team will be presented with their championship medals. This team were a credit all year, and it will be an occasion to reflect on their wonderful achievement.
This promises to be a great night of celebration, and tickets can be got from any committee member, or alternatively they will be left in local shops to be purchased.
Player off the Year
Well done to Niall Mc Dermott on Senior Player of the Year. also huge congrats to Thomas Moore on collecting an All Ireland Junior medal, a brilliant achievement by both lads. Well done from all at Ballinagh GAA.
