Redhills staged a presentation for midfielder Packie Leddy on Sunday to mark his captaincy of the Cavan junior side which won the All-Ireland title in August.

Club chairman Martin Brady, brother of former All Star Ollie, made the crystal plaque presentation to Leddy and after congratulating the skipper pointed out that Redhills had strong links to the last Breffni side to capture the title in 1927.

His own father, Francie Gilsenan's father and Francie Fitzpatrick's grandfather were all on the panel which beat Kildare by 0-7 to 1-3.

The club also wished Leddy well as he travels to the US this week for a year-long stint.
