Junior Stars in your Eyes : The kids of Cornafean have been practicing hard for the last 2 months to bring this show to the Sporthall in Cornafean on the Bank Holiday Monday, the 27th of Oct.  Some of the international acts confirmed are ABBA, Taylor Swift, The Pogues, The spice girls and many more.  The show starts at 7pm and it promises to be a great night, all support appreciated!
Clothing Collection : The Ladies Club would like to thank everyone who donated black bags to our recent collection.  Also a special word of thanks to the Clutterbug charity shop in Arva for their generousity.  We would encourage club members to visit and donate good quality items to this shop.
The 11th annual Gallant 15km Challenge in aid of St Christopher's Hospice Cavan takes place Saturday 25th October 2014. Main sponsor is MacManus Pharmacies Cavan. People can either walk, run or cycle the 15km from Cavan to Cornafean or choose the smaller course of Ballinagh to Cornafean. Over the previous 10 years the Challenge has been an outstanding success raising 289,000 euro for this wonderful cause.

Whist: The next Cornafean whist drive takes place in McSeain's on Monday week the 3rd of November starting at 8.45pm sharp. New card players always welcome, with super served.

The race night committee and club would again like to thank all those who contributed to making the night possible.
