Denn GFC Club Notes

Blotto Draw
The Blotto Draw took place in The Crosskeys Inn on Monday 28th July. The winning numbers were 10,16,17,28. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of E25 were Colm McInerney, Helena Brady & Suzie Mulligan, James McEvoy, Olivia Kiernan, John & Bernie Smith. The next draw will be on Monday 4th August in The Carraig Springs. Jackpot is now E8,050.

Minor Championship
Denn will play in the Cavan Minor B Championship. The team have been drawn against Sheelin Gaels in Round 1 and will play on Tuesday 19th August in Ballymachugh at 7.30pm.

Under 16 Championship
Denn played the postponed Round 1 game against Mullahoran on Thursday evening last in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys. In a dominant display ths home side were the victors on a 4-13 to 2-10 scoreline. They will now face the losers of a playoff between Mullahoran and Belturbet on Thursday 7th August for a place in the semi-finals.

Gerry Reilly Cup
Congratulations to Denn players Thomas Edward Donohoe and Cavell Keogan who were on the Cavan Under 16 team that won the Gerry Reilly Cup at the weekend.

Under 12 Summer League
Round 6:Tuesday 5th August: Castletara(St Patrick's) v Denn
Round 7:Monday 11th August: Denn v Mullahoran

Denn Camogie
Denn Camogie Club would like to say a big Thank You to all who supported our Quiz in the Tank Bar. Sincere thanks to Brian & Annmarie for hosting the quiz,providing refreshments and donating E100 prize money. Thanks to all who donated prizes for raffle, Martin Cahill who acted as quizmaster on the night and thanks to all who supported our quiz.

Under 8 & Under 10 football
The Denn Under 8 and Under 10 footballers will participate in "Group White" for the 2014 series of Go Games alongside Arva, Belturbet, Cavan Gaels, Cornafean, Castlerahan and Drumlane. All games will be two touch football (1 hop and 1 solo or 2 solos). Points only . No goal keepers (the nearest defender takes the kick-out). No 45's.
Games will last 8 minutes per half
Below is the proposed Go Games fixtures for Denn. All Go Games are scheduled to be played on Saturday mornings from 10.30am. The first named team will host the Go
Games on the day indicated.

Club Membership
2014 Club Membership is now due. In order to be entitled to the rights of a full member, a person must have their fees paid to the club. Anyone that uses the club's facilities, even if it is only walking around the pitch must be fully paid up members to be insured. Contact any committee member. Social Membership is now also available.
