Ladies WeekendSenior FinalLacken successfully defended their Cavan Ladies Senior crown yesterday at Kingspan Breffni Park, beating Lurgan on a 5-6 to 1-11 scoreline.
The first half was a tight affair with only a point between the sides at the break, Lacken leading 2-4 to 1-6. Rosie O'Keefe and Cathriona Leddy hitting the goals for Lacken and Asleigh O'Connell for Lurgan.
The winners made a blistering start to the second half, scoring 2-2 by the 10th minute. Lurgan responded with a point a few minutes later but the game was effectively decided on the 18th minute with a fifth Lacken goal.
The Virginia Ladies replied with four more points in the last ten minutes, but Lacken held out for the win.

Intermediate FinalMullahoran defeated St Finbarrs 2-11 to 1-7 to claim the Cavan Ladies Intermediate title in Kingspan Breffni Park yesterday.
The winners led 0-6 to 0-3 at half time and maintained that lead throughout the second half, helped with goals from Una Brady & Ashling Sheridan.

Junior B FinalThe first of a triple header of Ladies Finals at Kingsspan Breffni Park yesterday saw Cornafean beat Shercock in the Junior B Final on a scoreline of 4-5 to 2-3.
It was goals that decided this game, Cornfean leading at half time by 3-1 to 2-2. The winners added 1-4 to their tally with Shercock notching a solitary point to claim the win.

Junior FinalLurgan Ladies did claim a title at the weekend when their second string won the Junior Championship on Friday evening last, defeating Drumgoon 3-9 to 1-7.
Drumgoon led at the break 1-5 to 0-7 but a superior second half showing from Virginia saw them edge home by 3-10 to 2-8.
