Carr hands out two debuts
Cavan's Ronan Flanagan
03 June 2009
Cavan manager Tommy Carr will give half back duo John McCutcheon and Eugene Keating their first taste of Ulster SFC action against Fermanagh at Kingspan Breffni Park on Saturday.
McCutcheon starts at right half back, with Keating manning the central position. Seanie Johnston has recovered from a hamstring problem to take his place at top of the right, while Cavan's two most experienced players, Larry Reilly and Jason O'Reilly, have to be content with places on the bench.
The entire half forward line hails from Castlerahan - Sean Brady, Ronan Flanagan and Cian Mackey. Flanagan, who has also played in defence, captains the side from centre half forward, while former Aussie Rules player Nicholas Walsh partners Ciaran Galligan at midfield.
Cavan (SF v Fermanagh): J Reilly; M Hannon, D Sheridan, M Brides; J McCutcheon, E Keating, P O'Reilly; N Walsh, C Galligan; S Brady, R Flanagan, C Mackey; S Johnston, R Cullivan, M Reilly.
