Cornafean Scor na nOg 2019 Overall Winners
Well done to the many local boys and girls who took part in Scor recently representing Cornafean.  Although no individual awards were achieved this time the accumulated points achieved by each act in the first rounds resulted in Cornafean being declared the best Overall Club in Cavan Scor for 2019.  This once again was a great achievement for everyone involved and thank you to the young competitors and their mentors for their time and effort.

Senior Citizens Party
Well done to the Cornafean Active Age Committee on their organisation of the Annual Senior Citizens party in McSeains on Sunday afternoon last.  A beautiful meal and entertainment was provided for the Senior residents of our Community.

Christmas Lights Vehicle Parade
Will take place on Sunday 22nd December 2019 t 5 p.m. in Cavan town
Proceeds in aid of Vincent McGee Benefit Fund, Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, Aishling Brady Fund, Specialist Palliative Care - Nobby McMahon Fund.
Registration from 1 p.m at the Equestrian Centre and entry fee €20 per vehicle.
Refreshments and entertainment in the Equestrian Centre.

Cornafean/Crossdoney Defibrillator Group
The draw took place recently in the Shantully recently and the winner was Tommy Curran, Ballyraggan.   Tickets still on sale in McSeains for another chance to win the Guinness Jacket.
All proceeds in aid of Cornafean/Crossdoney Defibrillator.

Co Board Fundraising Draw
The County Board are in their final weeks of their house draw fundraiser "Win the Dream in Dublin 15".
The draw takes place on 30th December in the Hotel Kilmore and the winning prize is a beautiful new house.
A small number of tickets for Cavan Co Board house draw are available from The Club. They cost €100 and can be obtained by contacting any member of the Committee

Interchurch Carol Service
Thursday 12th at 8 p.m.in Killeshandra Church of Ireland.  Led by Rev. Alison featuring choirs from all local churches.

Killeshandra CCE Christmas Session
Takes place in Hayes on Saturday December 14th at 9 p.m.  Everyone welcome to join the fun.

Club Notice
Due to a great effort by our Development Committee and contractors work on our carpark is now complete.  Activity can now resume in The Sportshall and gym.  However, the pitch and running track  will remain closed for a while longer.  Thanks to everyone for their patience and co-operation.
