August monthly meeting

The next monthly meeting will take place on Thursday, 8th August at 8:30pm in the clubrooms. All members welcome and encouraged to attend. 

 

Collect for Club Jerseys

McEvoy's SuperValu in Virginia are running 'Collect for Club Jerseys' this year and your support of our club would be greatly appreciated to ensure we receive a set of jerseys for one of our underage teams. All you have to do is slot the voucher when you spend €30 or more in store into the Castlerahan box!

 

Senior

Our senior team secured the Division 1 league title for the second year in a row with a 1-9 to 0-6 point defeat of Ramor United in the final in wet and miserable conditions in Crosskeys on Sunday evening last. Well done to the lads and their management team. Focus now turns to the upcoming championship with the first round v Killygarry throwing in on Friday week, 2nd August, at 7:30pm in Crosskeys.

 

Reserve

Our reserve team were due to play Ballyhaise in round 3 of the reserve championship on Friday evening last but the game was called off because of thunder and lightning in the Ballyhaise area. The game has been refixed for Wednesday evening at 7:45pm in Ballyhaise.

 

U17s 

Our U17s got their championship campaign off to a good start with a defeat of Blackwater Gaels in Mountnugent on Tuesday evening last. Full-time scoreline: Castlerahan 4-23 to 4-17 Blackwater Gaels. The team will host Kingscourt on Tuesday, 30 July at 7:30pm in Ballyjamesduff in round 2.

 

U15s

Our U15s were defeated in their opening championship game by St. Finbarr's. They host Cuchulainns on Wednesday evening at 7:30pm in Ballyjamesduf in round 2.
