Club Gowna 

The draws for May June and July were made recently and the winners were Paul and Fidelma Galligan Corfree   Dolores Stephens Gurteen and Ciaran Fitzpatrick Australia. 

 

Senior League semi final 

Unfortunately our senior team were beaten in the div1 league semi final on Wednesday evening last.The game was against current county champions Castlerahan and was playing in Mullahoran. The match was of good quality and played in a strong manner with Gowna losing to  a goal scored 5 minutes into injury time final score  

Gowna 1_08 Castlerahan 1_11.

 

U17s

Southern Gales u17s got their div1 championship campaign off to a winning start away to Cuchullains last Monday winning well final score Southern Gales 3_17 Cuchullains 1_09 .The next round is"nt for a few weeks.

 

U15s

Killygarry were visitors to Gowna for the second round of the u15 div1 championship and came away with a win beating Gowna on a score of Gowna 2_11 Killygarry 4_10.

Next game is round 3 away to Bailieboro on Thursday next 25th at 7_30pm.

 

U9 blitz 

On Saturday last the club held a very successful u9 blitz with 18 teams taking part and everyone had a wonderful day thanks to everyone who helped out.
