RESERVES

Junior Team completed their Division 1 campaign with an impressive performance yet loss against Laragh United in Saturday night ; 1:16- 0-17. Our Junior panel, with a nice mix of young and experienced players thoroughly enjoyed the regular games against good quality Junior B teams. We are delighted to retain our Div 1B junior status for another year.

SENIOR

Our Senior Team had a well deserved and hard fought win against a young Knockbride team in Cootehill on Sunday ; 1:14 - 0.13. Next game is Vs Drumlane in Mullagh on this Thursday at 8pm..

U13 BOYS

Results

On Monday our Div 1 team played Ramor at home. We got off to a very slow start letting Ramor control the first half. In the second half we rallied back but were unlucky to concede a few goals near the end which sealed our fate. We have now finished the Spring League and look forward to playing in a more suitable lower division for the championship.

Cuchulainns 4-12 V Ramor 9-12

On Wednesday our Div 5 team played Mullahoran away.  This was a tough game with two well matched teams. Again we started slowly allowing Mullahoran to take a strong lead in the first half. We faught back in the second half to tie the game but unfortunately we conceded a few scores at the end. Our Division 5 team finished the league 5th of 11 teams narrowly missing a semi-final.

Cuchulainns 3-9 V Mullahoran 5-9.

Training.

Saturday 12-1pm in Mullagh.

The U13 girls played round 1 in division two on Saturday away to Drumgoon.  Drumgoon started well going a goal and two points up, our girls creating several scoring opportunities but despite this failed to score in the 1st half.

Half time score Drumgoon 1 - 2 cuchulainns 0 - 0

In the second half, with the girls refusing to panic and eventually getting their 1st score which gave them the confidence to push on and closed the gap to a  2 point game.  Them with ten minutes to go scored a superb goal to win the game by one point.

It was a hard fought game with a score line of

Drumgoon 1 - 6

Cuchulinns 3 - 1.

Well done to all the girls who got off to a winning start in the U13 Championship.

Our next game is on Thursday 20th in Mullagh at 7.00 against  Lavey
