Mullagh Sports Partnership Development:

We are delighted to announce that Stage 1 of our development has been completed. Much of our funds from the I'm a Celebrity fundraiser have been carefully invested into completing Stage 1 our of project. This has involved the leveling of our site in preparation for the commencement of Stage 2. We are awaiting confirmation on the relocation of an ESB substation on the Mullagh town side of our site. This is essential to accommodate our proposed plans.

We will soon be commencing the tendering process for the development of a new adult pitch. We would plan to commence work this Spring and have this pitch ready for action in the Summer of 2020.

The planning for a biodiversity walkway around the perimeter of the site is under consideration. We have successfully passed the 'expression of interest' stage of application to the Leader Fund. We are planning to engage a consultant in developing a feasibility study for this exciting project.  We are very appreciative of the expert assistance we have received from Daphne Shackleton.

You will be able to view aerial images of the site via our social media and website soon.

We are only delighted to announce and hugely appreciative to Colm McManus and Paddy Clarke who have both agreed to represent Clg Cuchulainn as referees for 2019. Go raibh Mile Maith agaibh.
