Gerard Smith and Pierce Smith have been drafted into the Cavan team for today's Allianz Football League Division 1 local derby clash with Monaghan at Clones.

They replace Christopher Conroy and Niall Clerkin who started the 0-9 to 1-15 defeat to Tyrone in Healy Park a fortnight ago.

Breffni talisman Gearoid McKiernan is also included in Mickey Graham’s 26-man squad for the short trip to St Tiernach’s Park (throw-in 2pm).
