Walking Track

 

Many thanks to all who participated in our Track Official Opening and OT town walk last Saturday. The new walking track was officially opened  by Mr Jimmy Sheridan , the Club’s Hon President. Funding from local  LEADER , administered by Breffni Integrated and The Sports Capital Fund enabled the provision of this wonderful walking facility for the club and community of Cavan town. Cavan Gaels wishes to thank the following Leader/ Breffni Integrated personnel for their assistance- Peter Pollock, Elaine Halpin, Terry Hyland Jnr & Fintan McCabe. 

In addition , the club appreciates the attendance of our local public representatives Joe Reilly, Brendan Smith, Diarmuid Wilson, Niamh Smith, Pauline Tully & Madeline Argue for the official opening, which was followed immediately by the very well attended Cavan town OT walk . Thanks also to Aine O Reilly & Nadine McCormilla from Cavan Sports Partnership for the great work done in coordinating the  Cavan town OT event. Cavan Gaels club is delighted to be involved in this wonderful community event. 

 

Healthy Clubs

 

Over 50’s exercise class will resume on Fri. 25th Jan. at 11 a.m. All Welcome.

Bingo

 

This Friday 18th Jan. Bingo will take place in the Ozanam Centre at 9p.m. with a prize fund of €2170 to be won. Thanks to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support.
