Mullahoran's Ulster IFC final fixed for Athletic Grounds

November 19, 2018

Cormac O'Reilly kicked the winner as Mullahoran beat Banagher 5-3 on free kicks to qualify for the Ulster club IFC final.

Mullahoran will return to the Athletic Grounds on Saturday week, December 1 after Ulster GAA confirmed that the venue will host their Ulster club IFC final against Naomh Eanna of Antrim (throw-in 6pm).

The Dreadnoughts qualified for the provinical decider in dramatic fashion last Saturday when beating Banagher of Derry in a free-taking competition at the Armagh county grounds while Naomh Eanna overcame Tattyreagh in the second part of a double-header. (Throw-in 6pm).

Mullahoran will be bidding to become only the second Cavan club to claim the Ulster intermediate club football championship crown. Ballinagh were the first in 2007 when they beat Antrim opposition Dunloy Cuchullians in the final on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-3.
