Breffni All Stars

Congratulations to seven of our senior players who were named on the Breffni All Stars Senior Football Team. They are: Jamie Leahy, Stephen Cooney, Paul Smith, David Wright, Oisin Kiernan, Enda Flanagan and Ronan Flanagan. Stephen, Paul and Ronan have also been nominated for the award of Senior Player of the Year which will be announced at the All Stars banquet taking place in the Hotel Kilmore on Friday, 30 November. Well done lads from everybody in the club - we hope you enjoy your night!

Underage Coaches & Helpers 2019

Would you like to get involved in coaching underage football for Castlerahan and become part of the club's future? We have made strides in the right direction in recent years as we attempt to improve all aspects of our games and we've created a link between the club and two national schools by providing a day's football coaching each week. We believe that every child who wants to play for Castlerahan should be given the opportunity to do so but, in order to achieve this, we need a plentiful supply of coaches and helpers as we field teams from U7 all the way to U17. We will have an information evening on Wednesday at 8:30pm in the clubrooms. Please do come along and get involved!

Benefit Night

The 'shave off' for the dodgy 'taches and beards being sported around the environs of Castlerahan and Ballyjamesduff the last few weeks will take place on Saturday night in the Imperial Bar! The event will raise funds for local charities and those in need of cancer care. Tickets (€20) are available from senior players and sponsorship cards are available behind the bar in McCabe's.  Music by Big Generator. Please support.

Dinner Dance

Save the date! The club dinner dance will take place on Saturday, 5 January 2019 in Crover House Hotel. More details in the coming weeks.

Scór na nÓg

Our club hosted one of two first round Scór na nÓg competitions on Sunday afternoon last in St. Joseph's Hall. Castlerahan was well represented by Katie Reilly (recitation), Lisa McGinn (solo singing), Darragh and Sean Lovett (instrumental music) and Eimear Reilly, Lily Caffrey, Luke Conaty, Caoimhe Conaty and Lorna McGinn (ballad group). Thank you to Irene Farrelly for her hard work in organising the event.
