Seán Clarke Memorial 

The Seán Clarke Memorial Day will take place in O’Hagan Park on Saturday 27th October. The day will start at 3pm with an under 11 challenge Shercock V Kingscourt, and will continue with the senior game Kingscourt V Shercock at 4pm. Proceeds on the day will go directly to Shercock Killann Cancer Care, and Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care. Our Main Sponsor on the day will be the OReilly Group, Kingscourt. We wish all the organizers the best of luck on the day and we look forward to the challenge game. All support is welcome for this worthy cause. 

Juveniles 

After a successful season, the U9 management team would like to thank Barry O’Reilly of O’Reilly Concrete for jersey sponsorship; and Neville and Ciara Carolan of AND Materials for sponsorship of refreshments for the boys during the season. All their support is greatly appreciated. To the Parents – the boys have shown the coaches manners and respect all year and it was a pleasure to work with them. They are a credit to you all. Huge thanks to Enda, Niall, Neville and Dónal for all the hard work – it sure did show on the football field! Congratulations to all our u6 and u7 footballers who last Saturday had their well deserved end of year party and medal presentation. Thanks to all who helped this group all season, thanks to the coaches, helpers, tea and sandwich makers, parents for driving everywhere and especially to this group of players. 

Hotel Kilmore Championship  

Best of luck to Castlerahan who are through to the Hotel Kilmore Cahmpionship final after defeating Lavey in a thrilling semi final replay last Saturday at O’Raghallaigh Park. Huge thanks to all the committee members, senior players and volunteers who helped out with ticket selling, stewarding, tea making etc.  

Shortlist 

We have been shortlisted for the Ulster GAA Club Ground Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at the Ulster GAA President’s Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 29th November in the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena where the winners will be announced. Well done to all involved!
