Draws for 2019 Ring, Rackard, and Meagher Cup announced

The Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher Cups

The draws for the 2019 Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher Hurling Championships have been made this afternoon by the CCCC.

Dates for the rounds are due to be confirmed in the coming weeks, with the first team listed having home advantage.

Later tonight, the Joe McDonagh Cup draw will be made on RTE2 during the 2019 provincial championship draws which is set to commence at 8.30pm. The show will also be aired on RTE Player.

Christy Ring Cup

• Two groups of four teams.

• Group games to be played on a ‘round-robin’ basis. • The top two teams in each group shall quality for the Semi-Finals, in which the winners of each group shall play the runners-up of the other group.

• The winner of the Christy Ring Cup shall be promoted to the Joe McDonagh Cup.

• The bottom team in each group shall play off and the loser shall be relegated to the Nicky Rackard Cup.

• Venues for all Finals, Semi-Finals and Relegation Play-Offs shall be determined by the Central Competitions Control Committee.

Group 1: Donegal, Wicklow, Down, Derry

Nicky Rackard Cup
