Feile 

The club were represented at Feile in co Louth by our boys u14s on the weekend of 29th June to 1st July. They were hosted by the Geraldines club in Dundalk. 

They team played really well to reach the cup quarter final and were eventually beaten by a very good team from Tipperary. Well done to the team and the management team of Joe Brady  Jack Houldsworth and Cian Madden.

Senior game

Our senior team had Cootehill as visitors for the last round of the ACFL div1 on Saturday evening last at 7pm .Both teams needed the win for differing reasons Gowna to make the semi-finals and Cootehill to avoid relegation. In the end Cootehills need proved to be the greater and the won  on a scoreline of Gowna 1_11 Cootehill 1_14.

Gowna 8-11 Shannon Gaels 8-6. Gowna 6-7 Ballymachugh 6-3.

Snr ladies defeated St. Finbarrs last Tuesday evening. Final Score: Gowna 13-9 to St. Finbarrs 3.12.
