Cavan seniors

Wishing the Cavan senior team and management and the Castlerahan representatives on the panel the best of luck as they take on Down in Round 2 of the Qualifiers on Saturday at 5pm in Brewster Park, Enniskillen.

 

Annual draw

June draw winners: First prize (€500): Philo Murdock & Sean Conaty. Second prize (€300): Noel & Ita Barkey. Third prize (€200): John Caffrey, Cormaddyduff. Twelve prizes of €100 to each of the following: Paula Coleman, Eamon Hughes, Paula Mulvey, Joseph Linnane Junior, Clint Tracey, Fergus & Kevin Devine, Martin & Patricia Flood, Norbert McLoughlin, Dolly Clarkin, Oliver Daly, Noel Flanagan and Eamon Clarke. Thanks to everybody for their support of our club draw. The final draw for 2018 takes place on Wednesday, 11 July at 8:30pm.

 

Blotto

The club has use of the community blotto for three weeks and would appreciate your support - both in buying and selling. The jackpot stands at €10,000. The blotto is sold every Saturday morning from 9-1 at the Post Office and Greene's Pharmacy and from 10-2 outside Centra and Skelly's Mace. Tickets are sold in some businesses in the town and in the pubs on a Saturday night. The first draw is this evening (Monday). If you can offer an hour over any of the next two Saturday mornings please contact Brian on (086)1077471.

 

Monthly meeting

The July monthly meeting will take place on Wednesday, 11 July at 8:30pm in the clubrooms. The final draw will take place at the meeting. All card holders are asked to have monthly installments paid to Noeleen Smith or John McGinn in advance of the meeting.

 

Kelloggs Cúl Camp

We will host a Kelloggs Cúl Camp at Fay Park from 2-6 July. Details of the camp and booking for it can be found at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.

 

Behind the Ball

Get Behind the Ball and behind our juvenile players by placing your tokens in the Castlerahan box at McEvoy's SuperValu in Virginia the next time you are shopping. Spread the word to family and friends and help provide a training football to each of our juvenile players.

 

Seniors

Our senior team will return to league action on Friday when they travel to Killygarry for a re-fixed round 6 of the league. Throw-in is at 8pm.

 

Reserve

Our reserves were defeated by Cavan Gaels on Saturday evening last. They travel to Kilnaleck on Wednesday evening for round 2 (a re-fixed game). Throw-in is at 8pm.

 

U13

Our Division 5 Group 2 team (11-a-side) were defeated in the semi-final of the league by Mullahoran on Wednesday evening last. Hard luck to the lads who put in a spirited display.
