Gaelic Life Ulster All-Stars 2017

The Gaelic Life All Stars Awards were presented at a Gala evening in Monaghan last Friday. Congrats to Seanie Johnston, Kevin Meehan and Martin Dunne on taking home three all star awards to the Gaels.

Healthy Clubs

Do you want to get moving and active this New Year, but you have nowhere to go?

Do you find it hard to find a safe and well-lit area to go a walk during the dark winter months? Well, Cavan Gaels has the answer! Cavan Gaels are coming on board with Operation Transformation and the GAA for Ireland Lights Up. Every Monday from the 22nd January - 26th February 2018 (6 weeks) we are organising a supervised walk for you, your family and friends to come and walk from 7pm. Walks will commence from the Cavan Gaels club house on Monday the 22nd January 2018, meeting at 7.00pm. Walks on the 6 Mondays will be on various routes around the town, all on footpaths. We want everyone to come and join for Ireland Lights Up 2018! All are welcome to come to this event. There is no cost involved! If you are interested in taking part just come to the Gaels clubhouse at 7.00pm on Monday the 22nd January 2018.

Over 50's exercise class takes place every Friday at 11.a.m. in Terry Coyle clubrooms. Everyone welcome. Bí Folláin.

Anglo Celt Sports Awards 2017

The Anglo Celt 2017 Sports Awards take place in the Cavan Crystal Hotel on Friday 2nd February 2017 at 8 p.m.   Our Senior winning team have been nominated for Team of the Year.  Our Captain Michéal Lyng will receive the October monthly award.   Also our Clubman, Greg Sheridan will receive a Hall of Fame Award for his longstanding success and achievements in Handball.  Anyone wishing to purchase tickets at a cost of €40 should contact Helen Brennan at [email protected]

Bingo

This Friday 19th Jan. Bingo will take place in the Ozanam Centre at 9p.m. with a prize fund of €2170 to be won. Thanks to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support.

Circuit Training

 

Circuit Training for all ages and fitness levels, male and female, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the clubrooms. All welcome.
